TCRT5000 Infrared Tracking Sensor

The TCRT5000 tracking module is an infrared reflection sensor ideal for applications such as filament tracking.

Operation:

The TCRT5000 sensor continuously emits infrared rays. When there is no object present or the reflected light is weak, the receiver remains off and the module output is low. When an object enters the sensing range, the reflected infrared light triggers the receiver, switching the module output high and turning on the indicator LED.

Connection:

VCC: Connect to the positive pole of the power supply (5 V).

GND: Connect to the negative pole of the power supply.

OUT: Digital switching signal (0 and 1).
