The BIGTREETECH EBB36 CAN board is specially designed for extruders with 36mm stepper motors. It can communicate via USB or CAN, greatly simplifying wiring.
Key Features:
- With BOOT and RESET buttons, users can update firmware via DFU mode through USB.
- Additional protection circuit in the thermistor prevents the main control chip from burning out due to heater rod current leakage.
- Users can select the thermistor pull-up resistance values via a jumper to support PT1000 (2.2K pull-up resistors), making it convenient for DIY projects.
- Connect the USB with a jumper to power it, effectively isolating the main control board's DC-DC from the USB 5V.
- The reserved I2C interface detects filament breaks and obstructions and supports other functions.
- Added reverse protection diodes on the heater and fan ports effectively protect the MOSFET from burning due to reverse voltage.
- Reverse connection protection on the power interface prevents users from burning the mainboard by incorrectly connecting the power lines during DIY projects.
- Integrated MAX31865 supports the selection of 2 or 4 wires for PT100/PT1000. This version does not include it.
- Supports communication via CAN or USB. The 120R CAN terminal resistor can be selected via a jumper, and CAN expansion interfaces are reserved.
- The ESD protection chip equipped on the USB port prevents static electricity from damaging the main control board.

- Optional Temperature Sensor Interface: 1 channel 100K NTC or PT1000 (TH0), 1 channel PT100/PT1000.
- USB Communication Interface: USB Type-C.
- DC 5V Maximum Output Current: 1A.
