Hotend Dragon V2.0, designed and manufactured by Trianglelab:

  • It is formatted for the E3D V6 hotend, so it is compatible with all printers and adapters designed for this hotend.
  • It includes a bimetal throat, achieving a thermal break much higher than other popular models such as the V6. Titanium alloy core and copper alloy body.
  • Ceramic throat with very low thermal conductivity 2-3 compared to stainless steel 16 (W·m-1·K-1). Low surface friction coefficient. The hardness is second only to diamond and it is extremely resistant to wear. Ideal for use with carbon fiber or fiberglass reinforced filament. High temperature resistant throat (500ºC).

Since the dissipation area of the throat is so thin, it can be somewhat fragile, so it has a structural mechanical connection with the external part of the heatsink, avoiding the annoying movement of the heatsink block when changing nozzles, making this much easier.

  • Mainly composed of silver-plated copper material which has the advantage of faster heating and better heat dissipation.
  • Compact and solid heater block, which makes the replacement of the mouthpiece more effective without grabbing the throat.
